Private Winter/Sleigh Rides -January through March
A sleigh ride stirs the senses and relaxes the soul: strong horses, crisp country air, and jingling bells—when you crawl into bed after a sleigh day, you will sleep deeply, wrapped in the ride’s wonders.

Rides are 25-30 mins.
Our largest wagonette seats 14 guests, and our largest sleigh seats 12 guests. All rides are private to your family/reservation.

*Depending on weather/footing conditions, you may have a carriage ride along our beautiful country roads OR a sleigh ride through the woods! Ride types, whether carriage, sleigh (we must have a foot minimum snowpack), or wagon, are strictly weather-dependent at the sole discretion of Liberty Farm.
Sleigh Ride Policy
We need frozen ground and a sizable snowfall to provide a sleigh ride. If conditions are unsuitable for sleighing on the day of your reserved ride, Liberty Farm will substitute your sleigh ride with a wagon ride of the same length. If conditions are not ideal for a sleigh or wagon ride, we will reschedule you for our next available date.
Sleigh Ride Attire
Dress appropriately for outdoor weather. Hats, scarves, mittens, boots, and a warm coat are essential. We have lap blankets available for use. Please ask, or feel free to bring your lap blanket if you would like.

Cancellations, Weather, and Rescheduling
Due to our industry's unique nature and the potential loss of opportunity, Liberty Farm employs a strict non-refundable purchase policy. All reservations and purchases, including special occasions & holidays, and food/beverages, are charged in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable/final without exception.
There are no refunds, cancellations, transfers, or exchanges; however, with a 72 hr. notification before your scheduled reservation, we will happily offer a one-time reschedule to accommodate a new date and time pending availability. Your food and drink orders, if any, will transfer to your new date pending availability; if not available, you will be notified of any changes. Please note that when rescheduling, Liberty Farm will reschedule the whole party. We do not credit individual tickets for additional persons within the reservation. Once rescheduled, no changes can be made.
"No-shows" and the failure to notify Liberty Farm within the allotted 72 hrs before your scheduled reservation via text/phone call/messenger will result in the forfeiture of the right to reschedule; there will be no refund. No refunds are given due to COVID-19. If cancellation is necessary due to COVID-19, Liberty Farm will reschedule your booking for a later date with a 48 hr min notice. Once rescheduled, no other changes or rescheduling can be made.
Should a client choose to cancel and not reschedule, the reservation is forfeited, and no refund is provided.
By booking a reservation with Liberty Farm, you understand and agree that the type of ride you have, whether it be a sleigh ride, carriage ride, or wagon ride, our routes (backroads, farm trails, occasionally our farm fields), the horses we use during those rides, or the horse-drawn vehicles used are at Liberty Farms sole discretion. You also understand and agree that they are not negotiable. All party members are required to sign a liability release form before boarding.
Liberty Farm reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a reservation without advanced notice due to unforeseen conditions or circumstances beyond our control, i.e., unsafe weather conditions, pandemic-related directives and issues, the horses' health, etc.
Liberty Farm will not reschedule or cancel any bookings before 24-48 hrs of your scheduled reservation. Weather forecasts are often unreliable and not location-specific. Liberty Farm will determine whether a weather-related cancellation is required the night before or the morning of your reservation and contact you to let you know if it will be canceled and rescheduled.
Sleigh Ride Policy: We need frozen ground and a sizable snowfall to provide a sleigh ride. If conditions are not ideal for a sleigh or wagon ride, we will reschedule you for our next available date. Carriage/Wagon/Sleigh ride routes are determined at the sole discretion of Liberty Farm staff and are not negotiable. No refunds are given should you decide to postpone or cancel your service with us due to the weather conditions or lack thereof. Rides are approximately 25-30-mins.
